Job Description: The Senior Process Engineer must be proficient handling of Engineering detailed design for similar projects on the following tasks: Facilitate P&IDs, HAZOP & other Safety reviews as well as fully involved in safety, HAZOP reviews during Engineering design phase and detailed engineering, procurement & construction phases. Ensure compliance with Owner's requirements; international health, safety & environmental standards and local specific requirements to be applied for major Oil & Gas processing facilities during design, engineering construction and commissioning; Act as the focal point within PMC Team for coordinating and resolving issues related to Process Engineering with Owner Functions, Third Party Certification Agencies, EPC / FEED Contractor etc. and maintain cordial relationship with all parties concerned to ensure compliance with the Project schedule; Ensure that the Process Engineering team members proposed by the EPC / FEED Contractor are capable to handle the Process engineering issues within the set Project targets; Check all Engineering works issued by EPC contractor such as but not limited to: Process Flow Diagrams and Process descriptions; Lines and equipment Sizing (Separators, Colums, Heat Exchanger, Filters, K.O. Drum, Flare,Reboiler and others; Developing P&IDs; Heat and Material Balance; Process equipment specification; Reviewing / Preparing process description / process control philisophy / operating and Guidelines /manuals; Performing technical evaluation of material/equipment bids including technical clarification to bidders through procurement department; Attending meeting for inter-division and with outside authorities including contractors, vendors and suppliers to discuss technical aspects; Manages the different interfaces by coordinating the activities of the team with all the other stakeholders on the project (engineering disciplines, project management team, licensors, subcontractors, vendors, working sites, construction, start-up team etc.) Assessment of plant operation problems and bottlenecks by advising the operations on proper solutions according to common trouble-shooting approach; Performing lines sizing for all Process and utilities piping; Participated in piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) reviews internally and with the client to improve the design; Makes the Technical Manager aware of the modifications or anticipates difficulties for meetingClient requirements; Supports Project effort with identification of changes to the Contract scope; Reporting Role: Process Manager
Requirements: The Job holder must have: Degree in chemical/process engineering; Minimum of 10 years in hydrocarbon processing studies, process simulation, and project development in Refinery , Petrochemical and Oil and Gas Treatment FEED design, detailed design, delivery and operation; Fluent in English; Experience in design and operation of innovative decarbonization technologies, facilities and utility systems is desirable; Experience of working on gas treatment and sulphur recovery projects would be an advantage. Availability to travel on monthly basis to Abu Dhabi and Munbai. Duties and Responsibilities: Supervise, oversee and coordinate regular and timely technical reviews of Process related Engineering deliverables developed by the EPC / FEED Contractor and Licensors, ensuring design optimization in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and best practices. Closely interface with Owner Process Engineering staff; Provide leadership, supervision, and coordination pf Process Engineering staff and detailed design work; Co-ordinate and interface with other Technical Departments, Business Units, Operations, EPC / FEED Contractor and Licensors to resolve technical issues and ensure quality Engineering execution and integrity.
